• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.
• Keep it separated from other jewelry or watches to help prevent scratches.

Compact, classically proportioned and powered by an in-house heart, the Frederique Constant Manufacture Classic Moonphase Date (ref. FC-716S3H6) is a Swiss automatic watch that celebrates the quiet poetry of the night sky. Its silver-grey dial, finished with a fine sunburst, catches the light with every turn of the wrist, while a moonphase aperture at six o'clock follows the moon across a starry backdrop through its 29.5-day cycle. The date is read in a graceful, traditional way, by a slim central hand that travels around a 1 to 31 scale, which keeps the dial calm and uncluttered for everyday wear.
Behind the see-through case back runs the FC-716, a self-winding caliber developed in-house by Frederique Constant, with a generous 72-hour power reserve that comfortably covers a full weekend off the wrist. Its 4Hz beat helps it settle back into a steady rhythm after a knock, and the movement is dressed in a fan-shaped Côtes de Genève decoration. The 40mm stainless steel case measures just 11.78mm thick, with an onion-shaped crown at three o'clock, diamond-cut hands and hour markers, and a railtrack minute track on the dial. A blue alligator strap with navy stitching and a folding buckle with push buttons completes the look, and with anti-reflective sapphire crystal and 50 meters of water resistance, this silver-dial reference moves easily from the office to the weekend to black-tie evenings.
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
The Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture holds the role of Frederique Constant's flagship model. In 2024, Frederique Constant introduced three new 40mm versions in silver grey, midnight blue and British racing green, all housed in the new Classic steel case and all driven by the new in-house FC-716 caliber. Its new barrel extends the power reserve to three days, and its 4Hz beat traces back to a movement Frederique Constant first developed almost a decade earlier. The dial draws on the old saying that watchmaking is the daughter of astronomy, turning the moon's 29.5-day cycle into a daily pleasure on the wrist.
